A new church service – ALL WELCOME!
4pm every Sunday at the Parish Hall (across the road from All Saints’ Church, River St, Tumut).
A relaxed church service for all ages, with structure but fresh, intentional and Spirit-led; uplifting worship, Biblical, Christ-centred teaching, and a kids’ program. We’ll have the opportunity to connect with one another over afternoon tea and the occasional dinner.
Whether you’ve been a Christian a long time, a short time, or you’re not yet convinced about faith, ‘The Well’ is for you. Our aim is to grow in the knowledge and love of the only One who gives ultimate meaning and satisfaction, the Lord Jesus Christ.
WHY CALL IT ‘THE WELL’?
In John 4, Jesus met a woman who had come to draw water at a well, and told her that He could give her living water, water that quenches our thirst for eternity. When we trust in Christ, we are satisfied forever, and don’t need to chase after meaning in the things of this world.
The woman was treated by many people as something of an outsider, due to her background and her sinful lifestyle. But Jesus showed kindness and love to her, giving her a vision of a new and transformed life. What He has to offer us is of far greater value than anything and anyone else. No matter what your background is, no matter what you’ve done or where you’re at with God, ‘The Well’ is a place where you can come and be reminded of the peace, hope and joy found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
